Dr Sharonjit Kaur

Sharon joined the Crowthorne Dental team in April 2024 and holds a Bachelor of Dental Surgery with Honours. She enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and is passionate about helping patients achieve and maintain good oral health.

Sharon has a particular interest in cosmetic dentistry, especially clear aligners and composite bonding. She loves helping patients achieve the smile they have always wanted and, most importantly, seeing the positive impact this can have on their confidence.

She completed her Certificate in Aligners in January 2024 and her Certificate in Composite Bonding in April 2026, continuing to develop her skills and knowledge in these areas. Sharon enjoys taking the time to understand what patients would like to achieve and working with them to find treatments that are right for them.

Alongside her interest in cosmetic dentistry, Sharon really enjoys general dentistry and the variety that comes with caring for patients at every stage of their dental journey. She is passionate about helping patients feel comfortable and confident in the dental chair, while supporting them to improve their oral health and maintain healthy smiles.

One of the things Sharon particularly enjoys about working at Crowthorne Dental is being part of such a great team. She loves how well everyone works together and the supportive atmosphere within the practice. She also enjoys meeting the lovely patients from the local area and building positive relationships with them.

Life Outside the Clinic

Outside of work, Sharon enjoys keeping active and going to the gym. She also loves spending time with her family and making the most of her time with them.

Samantha Trathan

Diploma in Dental Nursing | Certificates in Radiology, Orthodontic Dental Nursing, Oral Health Education & Fluoride Application | Working towards Certificate in Dental Implant Nursing

Sam joined the Crowthorne Dental team in December 2023 and qualified as a dental nurse in 2013. With more than a decade of experience in dental nursing, Sam enjoys all aspects of her role and has developed a particular interest in dental implants and orthodontics, with oral surgery, including extractions, also being a favourite.

Sam holds a Diploma in Dental Nursing as well as certificates in Radiology, Orthodontic Dental Nursing, Oral Health Education and Fluoride Application. She is currently working towards her Certificate in Dental Implant Nursing, which she is due to complete in 2028, continuing to build on her knowledge and expertise.

As Head Dental Nurse, Sam plays an important role in keeping the practice running safely and smoothly. Alongside supporting patients and clinicians, she oversees areas including health and safety and the sterilisation of dental instruments and equipment, helping to ensure the highest standards are maintained throughout the practice.

What Sam particularly enjoys about Crowthorne Dental is the strong sense of teamwork. She describes the team as being like a family, with everyone supporting and encouraging one another. She also loves seeing the patients each day — their smiles and friendly faces are one of the things she enjoys most about coming to work.

Sam is passionate about helping patients feel comfortable and well cared for, whether they are visiting for routine treatment or something more involved. She brings a warm, caring approach to her role and enjoys being part of their dental journey.

Life Outside the Clinic

Outside of work, Sam enjoys spending time with her daughter, Imogen, and her dog, Rolo. She loves getting creative with sewing and crochet, playing board games with her family and heading out for walks with Rolo.

For Sam, family time, creativity and the occasional competitive board game are the perfect way to unwind!

Daniela Reynaga

Dental Hygienist

Diploma in Dental Hygiene and Therapy
Daniela has been an integral part of the Crowthorne Dental family for 14 years, having first joined the practice in 2012. She qualified in 1999 and has many years of experience in dental hygiene and therapy.

Daniela has a particular interest in periodontal (gum) health and is passionate about working with patients to improve and maintain their oral health.
Daniela enjoys getting to know her patients and takes a friendly, calm and reassuring approach to care. She understands that visiting the dentist can feel daunting for some people, particularly those who are nervous, and always aims to make patients feel comfortable, listened to and at ease.
She enjoys working with patients to help them understand their oral health and feel more confident about caring for their teeth and gums. One of the things Daniela loves most about working at Crowthorne Dental is the wonderful variety of patients she meets, alongside the supportive and friendly team she works with.

Life Outside the Clinic
Outside of work, Daniela enjoys keeping active and is a big sports fan. She loves running, weight training at the gym and boxing. She also enjoys spending time with Diesel, her much-loved dog.

Practice Manager

National Examining Board for Dental Nurses (NEBDN) Certificate in Dental Nursing | Working towards Level 5 CIPD Qualification

Ellie joined the Crowthorne Dental team in April 2025, bringing with her eight years of experience as a dental nurse and three years of experience in dental practice management. She qualified as a dental nurse in 2018 with her National Examining Board for Dental Nurses (NEBDN) qualification and has developed a wealth of experience throughout her career in dentistry.

Ellie particularly enjoys working alongside clinicians on oral surgery and dental implant cases, drawing on her experience as a dental nurse. She has a real interest in the clinical side of dentistry, but it is her naturally organised approach and passion for supporting people that she brings to her role as Practice Manager.

As Practice Manager, Ellie enjoys keeping the practice organised and running smoothly, while supporting the whole team and helping everyone to work together effectively. She takes pride in creating a positive working environment where the team feels supported and patients receive the best possible care and experience.

Ellie is also passionate about continuing to develop her knowledge and skills. She is hoping to begin her Level 5 CIPD qualification soon, which she is due to complete in 2029, further developing her knowledge of people management and supporting her role within the practice.

One of the things Ellie loves most about working at Crowthorne Dental is being part of such a brilliant team. She strongly believes in the advice she was once given: “It’s harder to find a good team than a good job.” For Ellie, the fantastic people she works alongside are a huge part of what makes Crowthorne Dental such a special place to work.

Life Outside the Clinic

Outside of work, Ellie loves being a mum to her two girls and spending time together as a family. She enjoys going on long walks with her family and her Doberman, Rebel, as well as keeping active at the gym. She also loves skiing whenever she gets the opportunity.

Shelby Bloomfield

Shelby-Louise joined the Crowthorne Dental team in October 2024, bringing with her a wealth of previous experience in customer service. She has always enjoyed working in a customer-facing role where she can help people, and she loves being part of a team that makes a difference to patients every day.

Shelby-Louise has completed her Ethical Sales and Communication Course and is currently working towards her Treatment Coordinator qualification, continuing to develop her knowledge and skills within dentistry.

She really enjoys working alongside the team at Crowthorne Dental and has found dentistry fascinating since joining the practice. She loves learning more about the different aspects of dentistry and being able to use her knowledge to help and support patients throughout their journey.

With her naturally organised approach, Shelby-Louise is someone who loves keeping everything running smoothly. Her organisational skills are a real asset in her role, and she enjoys making sure patients feel well looked after and supported.

Life Outside the Clinic

Outside of work, Shelby-Louise loves spending time with her family, going on holiday, spending time with animals and cooking. She is also a qualified massage and spa therapist, giving her another passion centred around helping people feel relaxed and looked after.

And when it comes to organisation, Shelby-Louise doesn’t switch off when she leaves the practice, she loves organising things in her free time too!
